Do you enjoy smoked beers?

Yep. Smoked beers are VERY polarizing. /me firmly in the affirmative camp when done right.

 

Me and a number of others are nobodies?

 

They're the best, especially Rauchbier. All of Schlenkerla's beers are fantastic. Jack's Abby Fire in the Ham is a fantastic American example. Here in NJ, Triumph in Princeton has a very solid take (which happens to be on tap at the moment).

It is , I used a Deschutes Imperial Smoked Porter in a Sharp cheddar soup.

 

Outside of Surly Smoke, haven't found one I liked yet.

 

I like them. I'm just finishing up a keg of smoked chili porter, tho the smoke and heat are dropping off a bit.

 

If you're ever in Wisconsin and see a bottle of Smoke Monster, pick it up. If you don't like it, I'll pay you back for it with a bottle of Belgian Red.
