Yes. They've been crucial in me trying some of the rare stuff that I've had. They'll set the rare stuff aside for their friends and regulars. I've had Doom, KBS, Nemesis, and Zombie Dust because of them. They're also going to set me up in their tasting room for my birthday!

 

I have two beer gals. One at each of the Total Wines in my city. They each have a faithful following and with good reason. And neither has a beer gut. Double plus good.

No such luck. I used to, but the guy got fired for talking to customers too much. Eventually this place also ran me off by treating me like total shit. Guess they have a funny way of trying to please customers.

 

Same here, my beer guy Renzo at Harry's in CT has become a good drinking buddy. Not only is he a great member of our bottle share group but he puts on a few solid local beerfests a year. Its guys like him that make this one of the best hobbies in the world!

 

Cant say I do. I usually find myself recommending beers to customers while im browsing...meanwhile the actual employees are off in a corner texting.

 

I sorta do.. I don't know his name, but when I'm in there, I simply have to ask..

He lists what he has, which isn't much as it's usually on the shelf, but, I've scored some FV13, Black Ops, and some others over the past by just asking that.
