    I can't eat pizza without a beer!
I guess it just may be a New York/New Jersey thing but we have some darn good pizza around here and washing it down with a finely crafted beer makes it that much better.

My Quirk - don't touch my beer, you can't have a taste, it's my beer. if you want to taste it, get your own friggin beer!

I agree with the food aspect, but not to such an extreme. When I go out to eat, I look at the tap/bottle list first, figure out what I want, then decide what food would pair well. People think that is nuts! haha. I do, however, avoid bold foods if I'm drinking something that I really want to taste as it is intended. I love spicy food, but I almost never order anything spicy when I'm drinking, it just gets in the way!

Lambics and cheese are amazing together though!

My beer quirk, I like to drink my beer out of a glass with either the beer on it or the brewery name. When I drink Sierra Nevada I have to use my Hop Tulip glass to enjoy Torpedo. Beers I really like I have to buy glassware from the brewery.

Since I brew and bottle, I keep quite a few of my commercial bottles. I rinse them out and stick them in the 6-pack holder upside down to drain. After a couple of weeks my wife nags me until I move them out of the kitchen.

I actually like flights, but I love the way you phrased your last sentence. In my head I hear it said with the Monty Python fake French accent from Holy Grail.

Only drinking at home...from a specific glass and only that glass...drinking lighter colored lower abv beers first then moving to darker or higher abv...three minimum beers that must be drunk with extras in case I feel like more...pretty weird huh?

"Best after" is fine. I'm really only quirky about dates on IPAs.

I've mentioned this one before in different contexts.

I'm a bit of a freshness freak in that I don't buy undated beer. The exception is when I can be absolutely certain that an undated seasonal is from this year's release rather that something that sat around the distibutor's warehouse for a year.

In addition, if I go shopping for a beer I've not tried yet and find no date or can't read the date, I buy something else that is fresh and clearly dated. Then I call, or write a letter to the brewery that put out the undated beer to let them know that which of their competitors' beer I bought instead because theirs was undated.

I don't like drinking beer when I'm thirsty, honestly.

I always have a soft drink/soda/cola to get rid of any thirst before beering it
perhaps I see beer as more than a mere beverage lol

I am exactly the same way. I save my eating for after any beer drinking...feel that I get the maximum enjoyment out of letting the beer stand on it's own. Now that applies for the better quality stouts, old ales, scotch ales I mainly drink.

Some of these quirks/posts are pretty funny and wanted to +quote a few so copy/pasted instead.....
Gets fidgety if you dont hit a store/brewery/bar... totally agree: I'm not sure its healthy but I hit the beer store pretty much every Fri!!!...

Standing at the beer store for 20 minutes deciding what six pack to buy!!! that's weird???? I guess I'm weird...

I don't think there was ever a time that I wanted to punch my dad in the face more than that!!! funny stuff!.....

The food paring thing I have to agree with I'm just not a fan of the beer and food together, maybe I just havent done it or had it done correctly but I prefer my beer be consumed by itself......great posts BA's......Cheers
