Because my income is not unlimited, yet my expenses and desire to pay my own way through retirement seem to be.

Congrats to you for not being bound by those limitations though....

6-7 maybe 8. There are too many good six packs @ 10 and 12 packs @13 to buy into the hype. Have you done the math? 22 oz. for $8 = 36 cents an oz. $ 12 six pack = 16 cents an oz. A $ 16 bomber = 62 cents an oz., at that price a a case of 24 , 12 oz bottles would cost $178.56. Wow. My good buys, nugget nectar, SN celebration, bigfoot, hoptimum, great stouts and others only cost $50 to $60 a case. Wow. I have bicycle and whiskey habits to support too. Can't be throwin' my money around whily nilly and such. I stopped buying bud light for the wife and now she wants the good hoppy stuff in the beer 'fridge all the time. Summers upon us and , wait what was the question?

Ive gone as high as $22 but would consider higher but would have to have tasted it prior.
I have over 80 22's in the cellar now and after time some are worth double what I paid, decent investment if i dont drink them first :astonished:

Well since I willingly paid 30$ for a 375 mL bottle of Raspberry Eisbock, my extrapolated bomber expense would be around 52$.

Depends what it is. No real limit, or at least I havnt found that max yet. If its rare enough and you get the chance why not splurge?

Just bought a Bourbon County Cherry Rye $29. That's my highest so far, we'll see how long that lasts.

Under $10 I don't think about it, otherwise I feel like I have to "pull the trigger" unless it's super rare sought after. I will spend $30 on some of the BA Bruery stuff (anniversaries, Melange #3, Etc.) but I try to split those with friends.

That is one thing I will say is worth 15 bucks, I don't typically care for most of their 15 dollar offerings but thats a damn good beer.
