Do you keep your empty bottles?

I purged my first batch of bottles today....a little depressing but necessary given my lack of space. Keeping the caps at least...

 

I had a collection of nearly 1,000 empties and then my wife decided to redecorate the kitchen. It was nice to get nearly $50 for the returns, although it took two runs to the store to get them all out of the house. Until then, I enjoyed the reaction of friends--the guys loved it, the women strongly disapproved. I liked how the gents were all jealous because they knew they could never get away with it.

It was fun while it lasted.

 

I have a collection of about 9 and will get rid of one if I'd like to add another. I just don't have enough room for all my full beer bottles let alone empty ones.

 

I know this is pretty old but if anyone is looking to get rid of Lips of Faith empties , Im interested in them

 

Nah...I bet the homeless guys were envious.

Also, I keep one bottle for every beer I try. I did this a few years ago, found I had too many bottles, and got rid of them. Missed having them around, and started collecting again in the past year. Already almost out of room, even after the boyfriend built shelves around our entire kitchen to collect them on.

 

Example - goes all the way around the kitchen, two rows when space allows for it. But yeah, already out of room. Figure I will just get rid of mediocre beers as I have better ones.

 

I save mine only have 150 or so. did some interior decorating with some of them haha.

 

I also save mine (so far all the bottles I have collected, since I have enough room).

I also have a special shelf for all the different countries I have managed to find so far.
