I was using the term "Pangaea Beer & Food" (hence the BA name) for my homebrews and food recipes, because they're all basically cross-cultural fusion. I use a lot of international culinary ingredients in my beer for complexity, uniqueness, and overall awesomeness.

However, I recently served a keg of my homebrew at a local beer festival and every person I served said, "Oh, Pangaea... like Dogfish Head, right?" So, I realized the name is crappy and needs to be changed.

    Some individual beers include:

Kala (means "Black" in Hindi) - a Chai-Spiced Milk Stout
Mediterraneus (means "Meditteranean" in Latin) - a Belgian Triple w/ Honey, Saffron & Rosewater
Gentleman Jack O'Lantern - a Pumpkin-Spice Scotch Ale aged on Gentleman Jack soaked oak

    And dozens upon dozens more.

Of the several beers I brewed four stand out. I brewed an IPA for my son-in-law since he is a hophead I called it “Wicked Kirk”. Another was for my sister who’s last name is Dick. I named that IPA beer “Stiff Dick”. The one I brewed for the ole lady since she is full Bohemian. I called that Pilsener the “Czech Delight” for me is the one I named the “Grilling Kolsch”.

The name I brew under is Hoppringill which is my family name.
Hop Ring Hill is the litteral translation from Gaelic. It is a place in Scotland.
My latest brew will be called Hoppringill Hop Burst Citra Session Ale.

I brew my beers under End of Silence Brewing. I have named all of my beers, but I am beginning to run out of steam, and am reusing names based on styles... My Black IPA is always named Identity Crisis.

I hear drewbage does this too.

Myself, I rarely name my beers but on occasion when creating something a friend has requested I'll name it. Usually they want something Shocker-related. "Creighton Girls Love the Shocker" Blueberry Brown Ale or some shit like that. :grimacing:

    cheers--
