First beer was warm Budweiser stolen from my buddy's dad, went hand in hand with my first cigarette. Had a few fat tires and sierra nevadas in high school and college but the real eye opener for me was my buddy buying me a $12 beer at a bar called Bourbon County.

I really don't remember. I think it was a gradual transition from macros as I traveled to other parts of the country and the world, sampling the local fare. I do remember that my first beer ever was Schmidt's of Philadelphia. After that, drank much PBR because the price was right!

My first craft beer was a Delirium Tremens my sophomore year of college. One of my housemates had bought me a bomber for one of our house parties. Neither one of us knew that it was "good" beer..all we saw was the 8.5% ABV label. We chugged it straight from the bottle while thinking "damn, this stuff is tasty."

Same goes for me in 1994, but also with Red Nectar, Anchor, Lost Coast, Pyramid, and Redhook. Pete's Winter brew was pretty easy to get back in 94. Back then I liked fruit beers like Pete's Winter and Pyramid's Apricot ale and winter warmers like Snow Cap and Merry X-mas Ale a lot. But now I hardly ever drink a fruit beer unless its a sour, but still like the winter warmers.
