Just curious. I figure a vast majority of people will say "no", but I do. I'm a mediocre reviewer, but I like reviewing them to keep note of beers I liked and didn't like.

To add a bit of texture to this question, I'll give a qualified "no." I probably only review about 1/4 of the beers I try.

I'd say at least 90% of the beers I drink, I review. Part of the reason is because my memory is terrible. It's nice to have a reference to look back on when I need to decide what beer to buy at the bar. Or what beers I want to buy to age. Or whatever.

If I'm at home trying a new beer, then yes.

I used to try to review as many beers as I could when I would go bar hopping, but then I deleted my ratebeer account.

    Pretty much, yes.

I find it helps develop my palate and motivates me to pay more attention to what I am drinking and experiencing. Not that it shows in my reviews, I am not a good reviewer, but it has made drinking more enjoyable.

For a minute I wanted to review everything I drank. Then I realized I was avoiding certain beers in the fridge because I didn't feel like taking notes at the time. I'm not a very good reviewer but I do the best I can, so I won't review until I've got a few quiet minutes to myself. Now I'm only reviewing locals and beers on the top 100's lists. There's something that turns me on about those damn lists.

I used to, but sometimes I'm not around a pc or smart phone and it's hard for me to review a beer after the fact even with notes..

I review most of the beers that I drink but mostly so I have a good record of what I have tried/enjoyed and know what to seek out and which to avoid.

i review the majority of the new beers i drink. it's rare that social situations preclude me writing notes for reviews, because it's rare that i try new beers in such situations (edit: i mean, are you really taking your $20 22oz BA RIS to a party? and if you are, isn't it some kind of ridiculous "let's all sit and drink beer" party?).

taking notes helps me relax and enjoy the beer. it "forces" me to focus on drinking, rather than getting caught up with something else.

Just about everything I have at home gets reviewed.

Away from home gets checked in on Untappd, then thrown in Hads at a later date.

No, because I consider the reviews to be for reference in deciding to try a previously untasted beer. At least, that's what I use them for, so it would be pointless to add my comments to a beer that's had a large number of reviews. I only cover beers that have a low number of reviews.

I review them when I'm blown away, so I am one of those people who get bitched at. " he gives 5s to every beer "

    Hell no.

I think there's something to be said for drinking a beer at least a couple times before reviewing it.

To that end: I'll review the Sublimely Self Righteous I had tonight and won't review the Green Flash DIPA because a) my first time, b) I'm a lil drunk.
