Not everyone. If i'm at home and feel like reviewing, sure. I do try to at least put it in the "Hads" with a score.

I try to only buy beers I haven't tried yet in a setting where I can at least write up a simple review on my phone. Sometimes though for readily available beers that are constantly around i'll try them in the heat of the moment just to know what theyre about.

I haven't reviewed a beer since April. Sheesh, I'm lazy. When I discovered the "hads" function, I just went with that. I find that enjoy the beers more when I don't have to pin down every little flavor.

I usually mark them with a "had" score but that's about it (for my own records).
I do try to add new beers to the site when possible though..

Nowadays I only review beers I think I might like to try again. This is about 1/3 or less of the new beers I drink.

Absolutely. Every single one. But I capture notes on very few.

I take mental notes on everyone (when capable), and write about far fewer.

    Nope.

Haven't done many reviews or any "ticking" since the 90's.

I record fairly detailed text reviews for new beers in a spreadsheet so I know what I like/don't like and why, but I generally don't post them here.

No, I personally see no gain to it... will rate them though... it seems to much of the review is bias towards that persons opinion / perception of the drink and this does not even account for ones personal prejudiced towards a certain style, brewery, region, personal taste etc...

Three different people could and often do have different reviews of the same beer, as an example.

If a beer has some good reviews I will try them at the same time I have purchased some off the wall small brews that had been really good and also tried some that had really great review only to find I wasted my money and did no like them. I just think its hit or miss...

Ive reviewed maybe 5% of the beers Ive drank. I have to be in the right mood and have to be near a computer. Sometimes I will drink a beer and think "Man, I HAVE to review this" so I will. I store everything in my brain database anyways, so I don't really need a website to help me remember.

I try to do every beer possible, but that doesnt always happen because Im not always around a computer. Sometimes Ill save notes in my phone if I am out drinking and then submit a review the next time I am online.

I use the reviews as a database of the beers that I like, besides, I reviewed one beer that I hated (Bud Light Lime) and that review got tagged and removed, so I'm not inclined to waste the time reviewing crappy beer.

I used to try to review every beer but especially lately it has kind of got away from me.

I like to keep a record of everything but I don't normally review mass produced lagers.

I do. It took me a long, long time to ever review a beer, but once I started and got comfortable with it, I haven't been able to stop. I don't consider it "ticking" -- that word seems to have a negative connotation to it on here -- but rather a record of what's out there. It's made me aware more than ever of how many hundreds and hundreds of brews there are to try.

Yes, pretty much every new-to-me beer, unless conditions preclude a fair/thoughtful review.
I do it mostly for my own sake, so I can refer back after memory has faded and gradually build a list of favorites and not-so-favorites. It also helps me focus on the beer. Most reviews only take about 5 minutes or so.

I make it my goal. Either every new beer I have or something that I haven't had in a long time that I know is awesome. Even when I go out I try to do some reviewing, but its much shorter. I don't post all my reviews here though because they aren't detailed or long enough. Sometimes I just write a sentence or two as kind of tasting notes. I post all of my beer reviews to my Facebook because I can upload pics with captions from my cell phone through e-mail since I don't have a smartphone to do actual web posts with on here. But yeah, I make it my goal to review them all, I probably hit around 95%

no. I review about 1 out of every 10 beers i have, if that. Lazy i know. The thing is, I usually drink socially; either with friends (BA and non BA), with family, out at a bar, a cookout, at dinner, and the occasional college rager. I rarely find myself at my laptop with a beer. If i do, i usually review it. I also don't take notes when i'm out or with friends (who takes homework to a bar or bothers with it at an intimate gathering of friends?) and i feel that just reviewing from memory is generally bad.
