I usually dont, but I didn't want to throw away my first Heady can and my girlfriend thought it was pretty so she took a can opener and cut the top out and now it makes a damn good cup lol. I may do that with whatever cool looking cans I get in the future

I save cool labels, whales, and just beers I really liked.

During college I collected every bottle I drank, had a shelf near the ceiling that wrapped around my entire apartment. Threw all of them away after school except 1 chipped Sam Adams Octoberfest that my friend almost sliced his finger off trying to open it before a trip to the ER.

Nowadays, I recently started keeping a small selection. So far: Cable Car for the rarity and Trillium Artaic for the label (and a reminder of the taste).

I hang onto a few bottles. and keep them up on top of the kitchen cabinet. My fiance won't "have our kitchen looking like a fraternity house", which I can understand. If I open/drink a better beer, I recycle one that I currently have. If I can remember correctly, I've got these bottles saved:

    Rare
    King Henry
    Vanilla Rye
    Proprietor's
    VSB
    CBS
    LPF

I used to save save he enjoy by series before they were common place. Now I just save rare bottles or certs. Currently have a nice JK 500ml set, cycle stouts, cantillon, fff/bruery collabs, my first huna, the BT I chugged and a few others. The more I trade the leas I drink because it got ridiculous and keep it under 20-30 now.

DFH was one of the first breweries I got into & I saved a bunch of theirs. Eventually I wanted the space back from having a full wine rack of empties. Now I have about 10 or so empties that are mainly more sentimental than anything. I have a few growlers from breweries that I've visited & a few empty mini kegs (Bells) that I might somehow repurpose but that's about it.
