I'm wondering how many San Diego BA's use Taphunter on a regular basis? If so, does it play a major role in decision making process when choosing a bar or restaurant to visit? Cheers!
I use it to track down beers that I want. Recently, I used it to find Abyss, Pucachev's Cobra, Rumpkin.
i find myself using it less frequently because ill see people on untappd checking in on beers and use that as my radar
I used when it first came out. Now, usually when i go out it is to hang out with friends and a place is already set or I head to my local place (PPOB)
I used it last week for the first time in ages, and the taplists for the two places I was curious about were both more than a month old ...
It's great for places that keep it current. For others you should supplement it with Untappd (will tell you what people are drinking there in real time) or the bar's latest Facebook or Twitter tap list updates.
I've noticed that a few of the places in my radar that updated their list on a regular basis no longer do so.
I use it to deciide where to go have dinner if we don't have set plans. I just wish other cities updated their list more frequently
Not an option in San Diego. Checked it out, looks interesting. Maybe a little bare bones but looks like it gets the job done.
I'm glad you keep your tap list updated - that way people can know that you still have Abyss on draft.
