Do you work with another BA?

All four of my direct co-workers (fellow network engineers and supervisor) are all lovers of craft beer. 2 of them are also getting into home brewing as well.

Makes things easy when we go out, we all want good craft beer!

 

Nope. But I work with a guy that drain poured a FBS I brought in for him, saying it tasted like shit, and saying Bud Light Platinum was better. Jackass.

 

I work with my best bud who enjoys craft, though I wouldn't consider him a BA. Though he does use the site for reviews and whatnot. Everyone else I work with is either a BMC drinker or still in high school.

 

Lucky enough to have a couple of BA's at my work. In fact, we have a tasting tomorrow afternoon.

 

I work at a hotel in SoCal. A few months back, we had a "Hop Growers" convention that was organized by a production manger for a pretty famous brewery. I found out there was another craft beer lover working at my hotel when we were both eyeing every case of great beer that was shipped to our loading dock. It took everything in our power not to try and hide one of the pallets of Pliny

 

No, but I'm slowly working at some converts. A few weeks ago a coworker told me he was going to have a few beers that weekend for a gathering. I suggested he shy from BMC and recommended maybe SNPA. That monday he came in and handed me a bag with 5 Pale Ales in it... Can't hurt to try.

 

Corrupting one employee at a time. Up to 3 after 18 months! Takes a lot of work and free time to make tastings happen. Glad I got my BA friends!

 

I work at one of San Diego biggest hospitals. So I assume there must be one other BA out there that works at the same place I do. Have not met one yet though.

OP- interesting topic. My work environment is odd... I work with probably 75% women, which is then divided into 35% high school aged, 55% AARP-aged, and 10% in between (I work with my wife, and she falls into the in-between category). Of the 25% of males with whom I share my workplace, I could call one guy a friend. Unfortunately, his beer of choice is Keystone (AKA not a BA by any means). With my influence, this will change eventually (I hope)...

 

Sadly, I am not.

 

I'm in the craft beer business, so I see many BA's every week.

I work with a few guys who only drink craft beer. They aren't BA's who takl about beer much just enjoy drinking it.

Yes, I do. I employ a young lady who vistis this site and she drinks Lags, introduced to it by her Mom! I also have an employee who is retired and works for me a few hours per week, we're beer friendly and he loves that I steered him away from Coors light. He's visiting his son in PA this weekend and asked for a suggestion of some beer to bring - he's toting along some Flower Power.
