Does 3 Floyds do Sunday carryout?

Yes and yes.

 

I have bought carryout on Sunday from them before.

 

Just a heads up, from my experience stock on Sunday begins to run pretty dry. The last two times I've visited on a Sunday pretty much the only beers they were offereing to-go were the readily available year-round stuff and seasonal bombers.

 

Were all those metal themed bombers one-off brews or are they going to be back around next year or even later this year?

 

I actually don't know. But if they are released again I will definitely be buying more Permenant Funeral and Toxic Revolution.

 

Always check the tap/carry-out list on their brewpub webpage: http://www.3floyds.com/brewpub. Best way to find out what's available. Its updated daily and most times when something runs out. IE, if ZD runs out, they usually update the page or post to facebook within the hour.

It depends. I wouldn't expect anything they've done in the past year to be done for another year or so. Sometimes its a complete one-off, but other times, as with Evil Power which was originally released back in '11, they will make it again.

 

Another heads up, they're a bit stricter with their 2 case policy on Sundays. I was not able to purchase a bomber in addition to my two cases the last time I was there on a Sunday.

 

Great place to go with your family, food is great and the beers are awesome. My wife always drives us home

 

They open up at 12 noon on Sunday, Central Time. I have also purchased six packs to take home.

 

Anyone know when they will be filling growlers again? I'll be there in 2 weeks, so just curious.

Strange. Every time I've been, the carryout limit has been two cases and four bombers, not an either/or.

 

I guess it depends on who's behind the counter. The guy told me he couldn't sell more than the two cases because it was Sunday. Fortunately my girlfriend was with me, so it wasn't a huge deal.

 

Sunday it is an Indiana state law that limits it to 2 cases total volume. Every other day you can do 2 cases plus 1 6pack or 4 bombers.

 

Pretty sure this is something to do with Indiana's (or Lake County's) Sunday liquor laws. I'm failing to find the relevant statutes, but I know they treat retail sales differently on Sunday than on other days.

In the six-case limit days, people were still limited to 2 cases total on Sunday.

 

I'm going on Sunday to 3 Floyds, can't wait to get some APW and Dreadnaught for the boys in Madison.

 

I was thinking about going there tonight to pick up some beer to go. Does anyone know what time the carry out closes? i suppose i could call the brew pub but i don't want to bug them
