I'm in my first BIF, and we're required to send some local swag as part of the box. I am planning to send my target a 32 oz growler of one of his wants and another 32oz growler of another beer from that brewery. Do the 2 growlers themselves count as swag or should I throw in something else?

I say throw in something else. Growlers are a cool piece of breweriana, but keep in mind that in some states they are utterly worthless unless someone has a tap system at home since state laws may mandate that breweries only fill their own growlers.

No. Maybe a Russian River or Hill Farmstead large growler, but even that is pushing it.

i gotta say no, especially since there's a lot of laws that prevent them from even being reused. toss in a nice tulip or snifter from that same brewery, that'll be an awesome combo to go along with the growlers.

They don't count, toss in something else.

Actually, the swag in the BIF I think you're talking about says it should be NON-beer related. So, maybe you could pass off a growler as a planter, used car oil holder, or something of the like.

Include a used coaster from the bar. The more beat up the better.
