Yes. I'd be very happy drinking very tart sours and stouts for the rest of my life (beer-wise anyway)

Ever so light carbonation, almost still. It had a lot of peach skin to it. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I really enjoy sours and when I get one it is a real treat, I don't crave them everyday, but price is also a big issue.

No, every time I think about getting into sours, my wallet crawls into a dark corner and assumes the fetal position.

On a side note, have you ever seen the remains of one of those after having gotten run over by a car?

    Just shit and feathers.

I enjoy the hell out of them but one is usually enough to wreck my palate to make drinking a different one a less than optimal experience.

I don't know man...I just started, too. Sours are tricky. You taste them and it makes your face cringe, but at the same time it's oddly delicious so you keep drinking, and then your face cringes, but its so uniquely delicious...well you get the picture

How did 2008 Darkness hold up? I last had it 2 years ago, and it was still pulling strong, but a tad sweet.

Love them, but I gotta have some world class cheese to pair with.

It's thinning and a little oxidized. It has a good amount of chocolate milk esque chocolate malt to it. I'd say drink or trade now.

Yes, I could drink a sour all day every day. Sours are awesome.

I must confess to entertaining the same thought as the OP.

I've had a few gose and Berliner weiss beers that I enjoyed, but on the whole, the various styles regarded as "sours" don't do much for me and I can't phathom the attraction some people have for them particularly considering their price.

My personal feelings aside, the ratings and discussion forums on this site serve as evidence that some people love them.

Moreover, the fact that some of these styles have been around for hundreds of years also speaks to their popularity.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but the concept of "trying" or "wanting" to like something makes absolutely no sense to me.
