Does Anyone Do APA's Better Than 3 Floyds?

    Why am I always drinking this beer when appropriate threads pop up? Currently at the top of my list. Tastes as perfect as usual.

    I have had AK and ZD and would say .394 is better but FFF pale ales are right near the top.

    Hands down Alpha King is my favorite APA..i think it blows ZD away

    I want to add...there is nothing wrong with trading for your favorite beers, etc. I just think it is unsustainable to acquire enough APA and IPA on a regular basis through trading only, and therefore most of us have to rely on what is actually for sale near our homes.

    Agree with many of the posts (especially Trillium and TG PseudoSue). I'd add Maine Brewing Co MO and Lagunitas Born Yesterday

    I'll throw Short's Brews into this mix of brewery names. I think those guys are masters of hop flavor combinations, and they just keep putting out new ones.

    I am consistently underwhelmed by ZD (*ducks for cover*)

    My favorite APA is Lights On by TH, which I actually think of as an APA.

    My favorite IPAs in APAs labels are:
    Trillium - Fort Point
    TG - Pseudo Sue (only non contract version)
    Hill Farmstead - Edward
