Actually I'm not at all big on the next hyped beer. 75% of my drinking is made up of the long time standbys. It just seemed like OB isn't as prolific (at least in my area ) as it was. And I don't hear much about it lately.

19 in one month? Hopefully that's the exception rather than the rule.

Do you have an estimate of the number of new breweries that opened there in the last two years?

Sure, Dale's Pale Ale has been on iBotta here for the last month at $2 off a 6-pack of cans and the date's easy to read on the bottom.

Their happier stuff is mostly middle of the road for me. Dales and Deviant are good but nothing I seek out.
Death By Coconut and Ten Fidy on the other hand might be favorite beers for their style.
And yes people are drinking it. I see a lot of their lineup all over by me.

Came here to say exactly this. And even though now a "local" in Brevard, there are many things within 20 min I like equally or better. Their niche was being the first of the bigger guys for cans and that served them well but I haven't bought it in probably 3-4 years. Doesn't mean I didn't like it or wouldn't.

I buy varying flavors more often now that the Brevard brewery has been up and running. It's easy to find very fresh.

An ice cold stovepipe of Dale's is the tits and at a very easy price to swallow. I start grabbing Tenfidy on a monthly basis when the first real cold front comes through.

THeir "IPA" is a regular for me. At $7.99 for a six pack in cans that I usually find fresh stored cold it's my go to when going headed to a friend's.

Any rumors flying about BA Fidy and Rum BA Fidy this year? Presume at minimum they'll distribute BA like they did last year, perhaps with increased production. But - any word on if the Rum BA Fidy will ever hit distribution vs brewery-only?

Old Chub and Ten Fidy are semi regular purchases for me.

Oskar Blues IPA is one of my favorites for the hop profile. Planning on picking up old chub soon.

I'd love to know too. I preferred it over the regular by a wide margin.

This was a big month for us. Not the norm. But in the last 2 years? Jesus. I mean it seems like there's tons. We're in a very saturated market. In the town I work in, which is maybe 50,000 people just opened 2. In the greater Cleveland area? Jeez.... Excluding the 19 I mentioned? Maybe still around ~20? Give or take. Downtown Cleveland has one on nearly every corner it seems. Ohio City is a bit of a craft beer Mecca locally.

Interesting. I tend to be partial to bourbon and whiskey for stouts - I've tended to enjoy rum barrel-aged pales and reds more by comparison. I'm sure I'd enjoy me some rum barrel TenFidy though!

I've had three of their beers, not a brewery I seek out at all. I'd love to try their BA Ten Fidy.
