No. There are so many good options. Needs to be fresh.

Stone Enjoy By Series is very solid but more limited. Stone's Ruination is great as well and more easily found. Dogfish head 90 minute is also great. A ton of great options out there - the fresher the better which is why Stone's Enjoy By Series is so great to me.

I suppose my go to is considered old school now but for me it is Pliny the Elder; I order it every time I see it on tap.

I wish this beer was available to me in bottles.

    Cheers!

The Double IPA is my favorite style of beer (although I enjoy most styles overall), so I have many that I like immensely. However, to answer the OP question, my go-to is Stone Ruination. Amazing beer, very affordable, and readily available.

Of what's usually easily available in most places:
    Lagunitas Maximus

Dank but drinkable - it would never be confused for a NEIPA

Any weldwerks dipa is my go to — having this tonight. 4 weeks old and a stellar juicy mosaic/citra bomb.

I really don't have a go to double IPA but lately I've been drinking a lot of Sierra Nevada Hop Bullet.

I am 90% nondistributed local or seasonal release these days . But when I hit my bottle shop for a standard double ipa I grab the fresher of shape of hops to come or dfh 90.
