I am wondering what the set carbonation level as per the brewery of Red Hook Long Hammer IPA.

I usually use my charts and my thermometers however I have found no data on this beer for this info.

I am sorry if I missed the info in my thread searches and hope it belongs here.

P.S. Sorry if I did not state something correctly or missed it somewhere, you are more than welcome to post the usual condescending comments and links in order to make me feel horrible about asking a question in a forum.

    Thanks

I think it should be a 7, or 7.5 tops.

Maybe you should ask the brewery? Craft breweries are usually pretty forthcoming with information.

Also, why do you ask? Are you trying to set up a kegerator or something? From my limited homebrew knowledge, CO2 is usually in the 1.5-4.5 range... So maybe I'm missing something if people are talking about 7-7.5?

Bottled beer is 2.6/2.8 volumes for craft beer. Unless it's belgian or light lager then usually 2.9/3.5 vol. champagne and soda are around 4 volumes dissolved co2.

it is temperature dependent but it would shoot for around 2.5 volumes for an IPA

I typically shoot for 2.4 volumes for my ipa/pales with good results.

You can safely go with the 2.4-2.5 answers without doing any damage to your Longhammer.
