Does Anyone Recognize This Growler?

    Does anyone recognize the growler pictured as my avatar? The top is stamped:

    "CARL AUG.BRACHT & CO.HAMBURG 36"

    I haven't found anything in my internet research thus far; wondered if anyone would recognize it. I suspect my grandfather may have brought it back from WWII.
