I know that aromas and taste tends to be subdued if the beer is cold, but sometimes I would rather have a beer regardless of style be cooler in temperature (although I have yet to do this as beer rating goes better when the beer in question is room temperature).

I prefer my brews slightly chilled. I just pull the brew out the fridge and let it sit for 25 minutes, then I'll drink it.

I enjoy a beer being served cold at the start, at least that way I can better appreciate the flavor changes as it warms to room temp. Just my preference as I know others mileage may vary. I tend to like to keep my own beer fridge right around the 45-48 degree mark.

I always drink my beers out of the fridge served on room temperature glasses, just let it sit 1 minute and bottoms up.

I don't like warm beer no matter the style. I'll just let the last 1/3 of the beer for strong styles like barleywine, stout, tripel, etc. get warmer to taste the difference.

Serving temperature matters insofar as if the beer is served too warm, too stinkin' bad. If it's colder than you'd like there's not really a problem unless you have no patience.

I want all my beer 40 degrees to start with. A lager I'm drinking doesn't last more than 20-30 minutes. By the time I finish a beer of any other style, it's damn near room temp. I like to see how much taste and aroma change in an hour or so.

It depends on the style, but less and less am I preferring them ice cold, and instead lightly chilled. I can perceptibly feel my mouth go numb when I consume anything too cold, and the flavors are noticeably muted. IPAs and even pilsners I prefer less cold than I used to, and high abv beers just below room temperature.

Ales and lagers I prefer right out of the fridge. Anything darker and I let it sit for 5-10 minutes before drinking.

Absolutely.... one of my favorite bars, The Bier Abbey in Schenectady, NY, has 3 coolers. One is et at 38 F, another at 43 F and the third at 45 F. With 30 taps and cleaning lines between kegs you never get anything but perfect pours there.

Yes. I like the majority of my beers cold (a short stay in the freezer), but porters, stouts, and other rich and thick beers need to be right of the fridge!

I don't want anything in a frosted mug or super-cold, but am otherwise easy to please. It's easier to let something that's too cold warm up than to be stuck with something that isn't cold enough.

For me it’s not a make-or-break deal. However, there is a noticeable difference when beer is served at its proper temperature. From my experience it does allow additional aromas and flavors to be experienced that would otherwise be lost.

Yes, temperature plays a big part in the drinking experience. Different beers present differently at different temps, and I have different temperature preferences for different beers.

Sure, I am not going to complain about a few degrees here or there, but extremes in either direction I am not going to personally enjoy.

Of course it matters. I prefer colder beers in the summer, in cooler weather they can be somewhat warmer.

Yes! And I have different temperature preferences for different beer styles. Rarely ice cold, especially for it's not Summer. Never real cold for malt forward ales. I'm lucky enough to have a beer fridge that I leave on the highest temp setting. Even then, some of the beers benefit from a little warming. Frozen, frosted glasses are never a good match for good, or even just decent, beer.

In the heat of the summer, I want my beer ice cold for the most part.
Most other times I would prefer it fairly chilled so I can let it warm to my desired temp.

Temperature mutes so many of the wonderful hidden flavors in many stouts and porters. I in fact chilled a new stout last weekend to about 45 and until it warmed to about 55 I was greatly disappointed in it after it had warmed there were flavors that couldn't be found before.
