Saw a thread in the beer talk section about a stout called Event Horizon from Olde Hickory Brewing in NC. Got me intrigued, but I was wondering if I should just look away (like with Russian River and Three Floyds) because I'll never see it here.

Anyone out there know if this stuff hits the Long Island market?

    Thanks.

olde hickory isn't really distributed that much. event horizon does see shelves, but only around NC (and i think only in certain counties). it's not terribly difficult to trade for though.

Thanks for the info. I had a feeling that was gonna be the case as I've never seen anything from Olde Hickory anywhere before.

If you're ever wondering about what breweries distribute in your area or somebody else's, just use seekabrew.com. Great tool and very helpful when working out what you should offer when looking for certain beers as well as knowing what type of extras to send in trades.
