It's supposed to be on the sixpack itself, not the can.
    You're not missing much IMO.

I heard it wasnt great so thats why i wated to try a single can and not a whole 6 pack. The singles dont have canned dates so I guess Ill have to pass on it.

Not sure on the dating, but I think it's a solid IPA that's still worth trying. What's the cost of a single $1.79? I think it's worth rolling the dice on that if you can't see the date.

It's no Heady or Pliny, that's for sure. But IMO Backyahd is a solid, decently hoppy daily drinker sort of thing. On a level with Harpoon IPA (fresh) maybe Wachusett's IPA (not Larry) and that sort of thing.

I would think that if you see singles next to packs at a store, the singles would be the same batch as the packs. Maybe one shipment previous. I personally don't think this is one of those beers that drops off so quickly a week or 2 makes that big a difference.

Their porter is pretty good. I'd take a chance on that if I were you.

Its more of an english style rather than the american style ipa, more grassy bitter hops than piney or citrucy, I'm not a huge fan but it's drinkable.

I had the raincloud porter and I liked it. Didnt care about the date on that one because its a porter.

Had the IPA and yeck its very very bitter. Couldnt find a canned date on the box and I searched a bunch of them. Just a bunch of numbers someone wrote in magic marker. I got it because their beers were on sale for 8.98. I dont know how fresh this ipa is but its not good and so bitter.

I like Foolproof. I don't love them. With that said their beers are usually on the cheaper end of the craft beer spectrum and they're local, which doesn't guarantee freshness, but for the most part it is likely that you're drinking a fresher can. Backyahd's decent, Raincloud is good, and I actually really enjoy Barstool. Their specialty beers are decent too, but I didn't really like the King of the Yahd, too much emphasis on being bitter and not that flavorfull.
