Does glassware matter?

I drink straight from the bottle like a fucking man.

 

I appreciate proper glassware at a tap room/beer bar, would I ever ask for a specific vessel, no.

I have a few Tulips for IPA/IIPA at home but I mostly default to a lowly pint glass.

I've also been known to drink directly from the bottle/can, nothing like cracking a Double Sunshine bomber or Tree House can and drinking straight from the bottle to the dismay of a bunch of beer nerds while tailgating/après/grilling/beaching.

Red Solo Cups, red only, also have a time and place.

To me does glassware matter? Not really.
