Does Parabola require aging?

    There are very few beers that 'require' aging. Certainly not Parabola.

    Not sure if it has been mentioned yet, but... 2014 is drinking really good fresh.

    Drink it within a year. It will not improve for losing the barrel-aged flavor they've worked so hard to give it.

    From all this chatter, got me going. Cracked open a 2013 last night and it was STILL glorious. Tough to say, but better fresh.

    since when does any beer require age? breweries only bottle A beer if its ready. the question is what you want or domt want after cellaring . i personaly dont like aged stouts. lambics and such can age amazingly.

    Parabola just found it's way to VA today. I actually got it by accident because I called about Sucaba as it was arriving today (I've been calling about it twice a week since February) and when I mentioned Firestone Walker they asked if i was calling about Parabola...I said no, Sucaba and they said it sold out in 30 mins, but they have Parabola....I promptly got in my car and drove to the shop...they would only sell me one, I hope they'll have some left when I get out of work.
