I've got a bottle of Surly 8 that I've had for a few months. I started out keeping it in my attic which was probably around 35-40*, then as the temps warmed I moved it to my basement where temps were probably 65. I worried it was to warm so I moved it to the fridge where it's been a while. Now my fiance wants more room in the fridge so I'm thinking of moving some bottles back downstairs since its the coolest place in the home ~65*. Am I damaging my beer by moving and changing the temps on it?

slight temp changes shouldn't matter. I worked for L.Knife back in the late 70's early 80's doing deliveries . They would load the trucks at night for delivery the next day . In the summer it got well over 100 degrees in the back of the truck and in the winter it would be close to freezing and the beer survived.

Sudden and drastic changes are an issue, slow changes won't do a thing.

The more consistent you can keep the temperature the better.
