It doesn't appear that they do (based on Untappd photo check ins) and it could get ugly for me based on their current tap list.

Never thought to ask when I was there, and their website doesn't seem to say either way. Give 'em a phone call, I guess...

I don't believe so, but they will usually do a 1/2 pour if you ask. Enjoy!

And FWIW they do offer flights at The Reservoir in Waterbury.

It just became legal for pubs to serve flights in Vermont a year ago (July 2014). Some serve flights, some don't. It took a few months after the law was signed before pubs started getting the glasses and trays. So be sure to ask the bar tender. I know they do half-pours, so that might be what you're seeing on untappd. I'm more familiar with their sister pub - The Mule Bar - and they don't offer flights (AFAIK), but they do offer half pours (and if you're not a jerk, then tasters - very small sips ~1oz or so).

I'm almost certain the Rez was doing their "taste of Vermont" samplers for well before that. Were they just flying under the radar, or is my memory defective?

Based on the current draft list 6 half pours will work just fine!

Not sure, if they were doing it, then it was illegal. One of the local pub/pizza places in Williston spent about a year of lobbying and getting representatives to support and change the law. Even Gov Shumlin made a big deal about it and held his press conference of signing the bill at Farmhouse Tap & Grill in July 2014.

They were definitely doing this well before the law was changed. While I can't let you know when exactly I was there, I remember getting the flight there with dinner after stopping at the Alchemist to pick up two cases of Heady in the morning ... so yeah, it was a while ago. I think Summer 2013 if I'm remembering correctly...
