Dog Friendly in Minnesota

Pretty much any place with a patio allows dogs on it. The taprooms that allow dogs inside (legally or not) besides what you mentioned are Flat Earth, Boom Island, and Sisyphus.

 

Able allows dogs in the taproom.

 

Sisyphus for sure, their dog greets as you walk in the tap room.

 

Fair State also allows well behaved dogs inside.

 

As far as liquor stores go, Thomas loves dogs. We have treats and everything.

 

I've heard Excelsior Brewing also allows dogs inside the taproom, but can't confirm this personally. Zipps and Ale Jail are also dog friendly liquor stores. My dog gets lots of love at both. Northern Brewer is dog friendly for the homebrew crowd. And sidewalkdog.com is a good resource for all sort of canine-friendly places in the Metro.

 

I can confirm Excelsior Brewing is dog friendly. Was there last weekend and a well behaved dog was off leash and even went into the bathroom with the dog's owner.

 

The BrewFarm is Pro Dog - that is, as long as their keepers are well-behaved...

I didn't ask, but there was someone with a dog inside at Bald Man when I was there.

 

I've seen dogs on the patio of Beaver Island in St. Cloud.

 

Lakes and Legends' taproom is dog-friendly.

 

Indeed does allow dogs definitely on the patio. Not sure about inside.

 

Waconia Brewing allows dogs.

 

Not a tap room, but I figured it was worth mentioning that the beer garden at butcher is dog friendly year round. We keep it pretty warm in the winter, but the floor stays pretty cold, so many people bring blankets to lay down.

 

I'm not a dog owner, so I haven't followed policy making on this issue. But I have recently heard that the free and easy days of dogs in taprooms in Minnesota may be coming to an end.
