I missed the release of this one (see: work and life happening lol) and was hoping there may be some floating around in West Michigan still. Can somebody BM me if they've seen it in the area recently (like past day or 2)? Any help is much appreciated! Thanks.

Found some of this the other night.price was $9.99 a bottle; not sure what it usually sells for. Quite frankly I would've probably paid more for a bottle just to be able to try it. I was able to buy 3 bottles, as the store just had bottles sitting out (roughly a case).

Not a store I've been in much (nor one I'd expect to find this kind of beer in), and I had a funny exchange with the non fluent employee. I asked when they got the beer in and he said $9.99 a bottle... I repeated the question and be repeated his first response. I then rephrased the question asking when the beer was delivered from the distributor and he answers "today". They didn't just release this again within the past week did they?

$9.99 is a pretty standard price for all the high abv DFH beers with the greenish yellowish caps. As far as when it shows up, the store is at the mercy of the distributor. It very well could have been delivered today.

$9.99 is what I've paid in the past. I found some in CO when I was there and it was $11/bottle with a 1 bottle limit

Thanks for reiterating the pricing. I figured limited and 18% ABV would correlate to a price of $10 or so a bottle, but feel better hearing that's a rather standard price. I actually picked up a few more bottles today on my way home from work so I can try it 'fresh' and then aged from 1-4 years. Regarding your comments on distributors; I have a very tough time grasping how a distributor would just sit on something that is in such high demand. The distributor isn't making money with beer in their warehouse; the money comes when the stores buy said beer. Seems like ass backwards economics to me, but then again, nothing really surprises me anymore lol. I'm also pretty sure Alliance distributes this in West Michigan, and based on what I've seen they do a pretty damn good job at getting the limited stuff out as soon as they are able to (see: breweries giving specific release dates).

Also, for what it's worth, the store still had about 5 bottles left when I bought mine today.
