just checked their website, which gives the ABV at 17%, not 20%

 

Had this at the GABF and it wasn't bad. I'd love to see it with some years on it. I can't wait for the bottles of this to come out. Hopefully I can find someone to trade me some.

I'm seeing less of DFH beers at my local beer, wine and spirit shops. 60', 90' and very few others are still available. Too many choices keep me looking for something better.

 

Agreed. The reviews combined with the price makes it a no go for me.

 

Correct released at the brewery today along with the PA Tuxedo. Guy at the bar said it was going fast. A case per person per day limit by the way. $36/4 pak-use your AHA discount if you're a member...I did.

 

I can't remember if this is correct but with Pennsylvania Tuxedo and Higher Math this November, does that mean no Olde School?

 

Pennsylvania Tuxedo and Higher Math both hit MA. I'm a hophead, but Higher Math was a delicious treat. It literally tastes like a birthday cake made with sweet cherries and chocolate. Very good and I can only imagine how much better it will be after some aging.

 

Found this in Orlando on the fifth of November. $10 per bottle. I could only justify getting one bottle.

 

Unfortunately yes. Not that I am not excited for Higher Math and Fort but no Olde School hurts.

 

Wait, no Olde School at all this year? That's a shame, I love that damn beer.

 

I've never been a fan of them for the most part. A lot of their stuff is just weird for a lack of a better word. I don't really see the point of chiming in on every Dogfish head thread to bad mouth them though. But since you brought it up, this sounds like the worst one yet, absolutely awful. I hope you and everyone else enjoy it, but eeessshh, awful.

 

Thanks for the info, that's real disappointing. I am a huge olde school fan and was really looking forward to grabbing a case.
