If you have the ability, you should think about making the drive to the brewery- http://goo.gl/maps/l4WsM
It's a little under 2.5 hours from Silver Spring and their Rehoboth Pub is only a few miles away from that- http://goo.gl/maps/ctgVQ

It could be worth considering if you have the time.

Personally, I was a fan of Pangaea, but I believe it's now out of production, so bottles might be scarce.

I find fresh Olde School to be almost undrinkable. However, after 1 year+, the booziness is gone and they taste smooth and sweet. Awesome.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but apart from the brewery, there are a number of Dogfishhead Restaurant/bars in the region, including one over in Gaithersburg, which isn't too far of a drive from Chevy Chase.

WWS, some Indian Brown, and a 90 minute, figured I would run the gambit. Couldn't find the old school or the Palo, but this should be enough to hold me down for now. Might try to go out and find some DuClaw, or Heavy Seas.

If you're gonna get Heavy Seas, get Loose Cannon. Such an amazing IPA, kinda like a slightly lighter 90 Minute.

I think Olde School as a seasonal would be hard to find now, comes out in the Fall, although you may run into an obscure pack that's been sitting if you luck out.

If you are into the Barleywines, grab if you can the Below Deck stuff from Heavy Seas if you can find it (might be kind of tough). Happy huntin..

Olde school was just released, actually. As was the Heavy Seas Barleywine.

FWIW, I just had a bottle of Heavy Seas Below Decks Barrel aged, it was quite nice. Grab one of those if you see it.
    Cheers!

Borrowing this thread! Does anyone know of a place where I can buy a DFH signature glass in Philadelphia? I bought one at the brewery some months ago but I accidentaly broke it at my hotel room...I know I can order it online but it will be like $20 because of the shipping....thanks =)
