Hello, I was poking around on the DFH site and came across a R&DFH section. I wasn’t even aware of the amazing project beers they’ve made and sold at the Milton site. I havent heard a peep here, or I’ve just been oblivious. I mean, bourbon barrel aged vanilla bean work wide stout? Bourbon barrel aged Fruit-full Fort? Bourbon barrel aged 120 minute IPA? Dammit!

    Anyone come across these gems?

    We need some Delaware connections!

The R&DFH bottles are brewery only. I have heard a few local people say that they are good, but with very low bottles counts (I think most have been between 250-500) I rarely see people in a local Facebook group post that they have extras. I still haven’t made it down to one of the releases, but I do hope to try to make maybe this spring before the beach traffic is heavy.

Are these draft room only exclusives or the limited bottle releases? They have done some really cool barrel things like Palo in rum barrels-draft only. Not sure if they do crowlers of the barrel/draft system they have. The bottle releases do not always sell out right away I have walked into the gift shop 2 weeks after some and picked them up easily. I live close by if you see they have something in particular message me and if I am in the area will see what I can do....

From what I read, they’ve been 750 ml bottles. I was surprised at the variety and cool stuff they’ve experimented. I’m a firm believer in most things bourbon+beer...LOL. I see they have bourbon BA WWS at Milton...lucky! Color me envious.

Much appreciate the offer. Conversely, if you see something barrel aged that’s special, message me and we’ll try to work out a trade, payment, whatever makes for a good effort! We have a fair amount of breweries popping up around here, but the stout / barleywine offerings are either not good or nonexistent. They’re hopheads at heart. There’s an Other Half in Rochester, which is maybe an hour-ish trip for me.

You are about to get hit with a flood of "Hey bro, hook me up" messages.

Including, probably, one from me.

The sour bottles I’ve picked up from their “Wooden it be Nice” series have all been fantastic.

I had a killer barleywine at about 14% from that line up....

Black Friday weekend they had a bourbon barrel stout barleywine, 14%, also killer. The Wooden it be nice" chardonnay saison brett wild ale, First & Farmhouse is awsome, available at brewery and merch. shop in Rehoboth. The bourbon barrel WWS is at the brewery, merch. shop, and Total Wine in Claymont, $37 a 4 pack.

Bourbon BA WWS is in bottles and distributed...although I'm not sure how widely. Bought a 4 pack in DE. Delicious!!
