Great beer. I love it. I've had a few in the past week or so.

I really enjoyed it fresh. I tried all three versions of the first batches with about a year on it and felt that they were all just okay. Victory will also be re-releasing their version in mid-April.

I missed Stone's version but have had the DFH and Victory version. My local shop wan't $3.50 a bottle for it, and while I like it, I just don't think it is worth that.

    Yes, delicious! Love the herbaceousness.

I never had the old batches, but the bottle I had this week was really good. Heavy on the lemongrass, and finishes with a strong herb note.

Yeah, that's more than Hopslam per bottle. I paid $2.69 for it, which is still high, but they don't brew a lot of this beer so that's the trade off I guess.

Ha! I've seen it at more than one shop around here for $6 a bottle.

Drinking it now. It has a more acidic note to it this year. And you can really taste the sharp lemony-peppery thyme first, followed by fresh herbaceous parsley, and finally the earthy sage and aromatic rosemary which are very subtle.

Absolutely enjoyed that beer. Victory Helios has done a fantastic job of satisfying my craving for a good local Saison, though.

I only had the Stone version the first time. Can't wait to try the Dogfish Head and Victory versions!!

Mmm love this beer, even for 3.00 it's a good one, where else you gonna taste herb garden meets S & G in your beer?
