This is either going to be very well put together, however, I have no faith in Hollywood. More misses than makes in the TV world.

Hoping for Married With Children meets Strange Brew, but I think I'll be disappointed.

Weird, I had I no idea that FOX were the ones that took out the right turns in NASCAR.

Brewing up biz is a good read, I don't know how well those stories are going to translate to a sitcom though...his truck accident and salvaging the beer might make for interesting antics

    yeah, ken marino is hilarious.

i remember a bar scene in 'the ten' with some fairly prominently displayed DFH bottles. wouldn't surprise me if sam is buds with the whole state/stella crew

Unless they cast Keanu Reeves as Sam, I'm not watching.

What if you like Sam, his brewery, the beer they make, AND Ken Marino but still think this sounds like a non-idea?

Plenty of people thought a sitcom based on Tim Allen would work. Successful standups presenting lightly fictionalized versions of their lives in sitcoms was not invented by Tim.

It's not impossible that the very talented Ken Marino came up with the hook, but it's certainly not likely, either.

Being close to the subject is just as often a place to be wildly disconnected from how humorous something will be to a large audience as it is a place to know great details that will make the comedy work. It's ridiculous to assert that he's just the right person, particularly without knowing what his actual pitch is. Ken Marino's career, like most comedians, is hardly an unblemished record of pure success.

I'm a little unclear exactly what the fuck you're talking about. It's a TV show right, not a public stock offering?
