Can't wait to open an 07 when I get the new batch too!! So good!

 

I really wish I could have found some of this in MD. I did find a bottle of Squall early last year that was still pretty good if you like malts. I don't feel like waiting to age this release. Ugh.

 

Had a 2006 a few nights ago. Incrediblely incredible.

 

I lucked upon some bottles today when I walked into a shop and they just got their order in. This is an expensive bottle here in the SEPA market as it's going for $10-$13 a bottle. The 4 packs at the brewery in Delaware are selling for $36 and a case was over $200. I was hoping to buy a case but the over $200 price tag made be just get 4.

Although it's probably worth it to someone since the beer only comes out every 7 years now.

 

Wow, I would've kept the full bottle as a collector's item since that beer's wayyyy past it's prime by now anyway.

 

I still have a bottle from 07 that I'm sitting on... should do a side by side but I have not seen a bottle of the 14' in MD yet. Not that I've looked very hard.

It's already on shelves in mass picked some up last week

 

Just picked up 2 bottles in Jersey City NJ yesterday. Going to try one tonight.

FYI, this was on shelves in Northern Virginia last weekend. Might still be around at some shops.

 

I tried all week to get this....4 different places, all sold out....dejected, depressed, i bought my friday allotment of beer and prepared to move on with my life. Then to my wondering eyes should appear? A last place shop, that got 4 cases and still had some....picked up two bottles and pleased as punch!!!

But in all seriousness....its getting ridiculous how all the youngins are buying up all the great releases before we get out of work at 5 oclock. I feel like i cant get anything anymore because i cant get to a beer store before noon. Its frustrating.

Had it fresh on tap at Gaithersburg MD DFH brewpub. Absolutely amazing beer! If you like English barley wine, old ales, big Belgian quads/strongs will love this beer. It's sort of a hybrid in those styles.

I love most beers from DFH, but i found this one to be overly sweet and my one and only drain pour. I just saw some today on the shelf and had to pass.

 

The 7 year old I had was pretty damn good, if a bit oxidized. Just saw it at the store for $8.99 per, might have to pick up one or two.

 

I just picked up a bottle of this today, after reading these posts... I wish I would've gotten all 3 on the shelf!

 

Anyone in CT seen this stuff anywhere? I've been looking and didn't see anything
