I've also gotten freebies from my go to liquor store when they break open a box set that has a glass. Perks of befriending people. Gotten a chalice and 2 tulips.

As a bartender, this is irritating as fuck.

Ive visited local liquor stores that sell glassware but of course they suck when it comes to tulip and snifter selections.

Is it? I've always heard that you guys are inundated by breweries with glassware.

I used to deliver glassware to bars along with beer and they always had to pay for it. They were cheap, but they'd use them in the bar or give them away on pint nights.

@imamutant is pretty much spot on. Most bars have enough shakers/american pints, but specialized (& or branded) glassware kind of has it all in the name: special, and to assume most breweries are giving away tekus, chalices and liter steins by the boatload is incorrect. Once they are broken/stolen/gone, they are generally replaced by whatever is available and not necessarily the equivalent.

Does anyone know a website where you can purchase a variety of different branded glassware from different breweries. I have found one website so far, but would like to see if more exist.

    http://store.thebeerdabbler.com

I was able to get 8 different glasses, from 8 different breweries all from the same store. Needless to say this saved me a ton on shipping, got all 8 shipped for $12. Buying each of these direct from brewery websites would have cost me $8-12 shipping per order.

    Any help is appreciated.

If your female partner is heading to one of those discount clothing places, Ross or T.J. Max, go along and check out the glassware. I have gotten some great bargains on Libbey and others. I really like the stemless wine globes which seem impossibly fragile, but don't seem to break. Six bucks for four of them. Nice for a fizzy lager.
