They need to adjust their pricing. The case cost went up $8 per case for retailers. It looks like they didn't notice.

Double Trouble is perfect the way it is. Why ruin it with a barrel?

Why? If he wants to tick that is his perogative. If he has the money to tick, that is his perogative. What is the harm in buying/tasting/and saying "yupI had that". How else is he to know that he likes it? Or doesn't? I find that self-righteous attitudes of how one should do their beer drinking has gotten out of hand with the so-called craft beer movement that IT is ridiculous. I don't tell my buddy, who only drinks Bud Light, is wrong in his consumption choice even though I don't care for the beer. His money, his choice.

Can you reimburse the sixty-some seconds that I took out of my life to read the quoted response, please? If so, send that package at your leisure. Thanks.

I bought a bottle of Doom and a 4-pk of Double Trouble last night. I'll have the Doom this weekend, but I went ahead and popped a Double Trouble last night, and I really like it; it's got a sweetness to it and it's almost creamy which is weird for an IPA. It's not the same, but I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed my first Hopslam.

I overheard the beer reps for the local store I go to quite often in Columbus that the price is sometimes dictated by the state for certain beers such as Doom when asked by another patron "why is Doom 14.95 that seems more expensive than other places".... any truth to this?

Didn't see Doom yet, but passed on DT at 14.99 yesterday. PA prices make passing on good beer too easy. I remember the good old days of like, a whole year ago when it was $12.

Hoping to find some Doom for $15ish but I'm not feeling lucky. Idk why people are so against bourbon barrel aged DIPAs. Just had one for the first time this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Can't wait to try Doom.

Doom is good, but if your lookin for bang for the buck get DT. I just had Doom on tap this morning for craft beer week and I'm glad it was 5.50 a pour, not $20 a bottle.
