I'm glad I'm back in the Eastern part of the state for a few weeks; it was pretty easy to find around here.

Coming back to Pittsburgh? Want to bring back a bottle or two to trade?

I'll make a few calls this week and see if I can find any still floating around; only grabbed one for myself last week. If I can find any, I'll bring some back.

I just don't like the possible precedent this sets for future beers.

    My bad. June 29th.

"Founders isn't just known for their stouts - they also make a damn good IPA! We're throwing a shindig to welcome the latest release from their Backstage Series: Doom, a double IPA aged in bourbon barrels! Similar to our KBS auction, we'll be auctioning off 4-packs of Founders' IPAs, each one with a Centennial IPA, Double Trouble, Devil Dancer, & Doom. We'll be auctioning off some other goodies you won't want to miss (trust us), & tapping Founders Breakfast Stout, Centennial, Devil Dancer, Double Trouble, & Backwoods Bastard. Things will get going shortly after opening - this is one party where it's good to be bitter! Happy Doom's Day!"

Check Giant Eagle stores in the area. I picked one up at the North Huntingdon Giant Eagle Yesterday for 13.99. I stopped by the South Hills location on Saturday and they were out of it. The dude said he was going to try to get more this Wednesday. I doubt he'll be able to get any. At the NH Giant Eagle they had five left as of yesterday at noon. It's not on the shelves. You have to ask for it. HopFace, I plan on sharing this with Kevin hopefully this weekend. You're more then welcome to try it out with us.

Just got an email blast from Save-Mor near the Waterfront. They have a case for $140 if anyone's interested. I'd call ahead to see if they still have it though.
