A buddy of mine tried to do this for a few weeks and didn't get it done. Although, I personally think the trade is extremely fair on both sides.

One offer he got was for the Side Project Origins and Saison du Fermier, along with one of the BA Perennial beers (Sump, I think. Not Abraxas.) for the DBD.

which ever the trade cost is now, I feel like now is the time to do it. This is what happens all the time. The trade value is super high at first (people are holding on to their bottles, not wanting to trade them), then for approx 3-10 months people decide to trade their bottles only nobody wants them (the bottle holders feel the bottle is worthless and trade them for nothing most likely to seasoned vets) then once all bottles have changed hands the trade value goes back up exponentially due to the fact that it was a low bottle count one off, and also because the bottles are now in ransom holders hands (who trade easily attainable beers for the beer, then ask for walez in return). its the circle of BA (a community thing).

The best shot most people will have at landing a double barrel Damon is by donating to the charity for James sake in the autism hillfarmstead LIF thread in the beer it forward forum. For every $10 donated you get a chance to win one of 5+ boxes, one of which is DOuble barrel damon, bourbon Damon, flora, and flora satsuma
