Double Barrel Huna

I also got tired of low ball offers so I'm just gonna drink mine, as it is one of the best beers I have ever had. It's currently resting in my fridge waiting for that special occation.

 

Do you mind sharing what beers of quantity were involved?

 

I'll leave that up to my trader to respond. It's about 8-10 bottles and included Puga Royale and a BA Viet Speedway. They are all great beers and an offer I couldn't refuse.

 

I did a quantity deal a few months ago, when there were likely more DBH floating around. I believe it was something like:

DB Jesus
BA Biscotti
Bomb! (Gold Wax) x2
Black Note '14 x2
KBS '14 x2
BCBCS '13 x2

Or something like that. Lots of bottles but fairly reasonable

 

What do you think I would I need to add with something like a HF Anna Magnum?

Both traders gave regular huna as extras without me knowing prior.
Both of these were done back in the spring/summer.

I drank one in August and it blew me away. I've since traded for two more, neither of which were quantity.
Trying to land one now for quantity I think will be tough.

The question is what does your 'multiples' comprise of? I've gotten my last three DB Hunas with 2:1 type deals and 1:1 type deals, but in the past have done Pick X type lists for DB Huna with some success. Just depends on what your quantity consists of.

 

I'm sure this will draw ire from some, but it isn't. DB is a great beer, but it isn't on that AB level.

 

Most people that have access to DB Huna mostl likey had 110K+OT batch 6. Or at least tasted it. That one may be a stretch.

Will Vanilla Rye get a DB Huna right now?

 

I got a DB with Vanilla + Bramble and heard of someone considering 2X Vanilla Rye for DB Huna, but the guy backed out (the DBH side)

 

1:1??? Not a chance!! (ever)

 

Gotcha, figured it was 2:1 with another rare beer or multiples. Just wanted to check

 

traded one earlier in the year for 3x darkness, 2014 DL, Backyard, and 2x bcbcs. Threw in extras to make up some $4$.

 

I just traded for one -- 2x Prop '14 and a BCBCS.
