Sure I'm going to get blasted for this but DBH was easily the most disappointing beer I've ever tried. By no means was it bad but if that was sitting on a shelf at my local store I would maybe buy it once a year (putting aside any trade value). Way to heavy on the cinnamon and far to sweet for my tastes. Just felt too much like a gimmicky beer to me

This x1,000 - let me know what those "1-2 beers" may look like, Mike, maybe I can come up with them :-)
You know what they say about opinions...

What are these 'interesting' 1-2 beers? Inquiring minds want to know...

Honestly, I couldn't say for sure. I think I'm kind of just waiting for something that strikes me as the right offer. I tried to pkg my DBH with other another bottle in an attempt to get multiple Props and Vanilla Ryes but got complete crickets on that front, so... I'm just kind of in wait and see mode right now

I'd try to figure out what beers those are sooner rather than later. The most recent reviews suggest that DBH's inevitable fall off the proverbial cliff is well on its way. One BA complained in a review this past Friday that DBH is "[a]s good as you think it is" and accordingly marked it down to a 4.98. Another disappointed BA declared last week that DBH is a "[t]ruly awesome beer in every sense of the word." It's really too bad others have recently noted what a shell of its former self DBH has become, saying things like "[t]his juice is from another planet" and "it may be the best beer I have ever tried." Let the fire sale begin!

I drank DBH 9 days ago and it was phenomenal.

After all these greeat reviews I would love to try a DB Huna, it is my top want. I have a Vanilla Rye, WB 4th, Darkness, etc. that I would trade. If anyone wants to let one go hit me up.

Probably going to take Vanilla Rye X2 plus something else bigger right now.

Debating trading for one. You guys think Aaron + Vanilla Rye + Nocturn would get it done?

Doubtful...maybe with a more desired JK sour? But I'm not too up to speed on the trade value of Aaron so I could be wrong...I recently got one for a Vanilla Rye and Bramble so it may not be that off at all.

This is very close to the current value of DBH. Aaron is the most valuable bottle in that offer.

Lets face it, because it's all subjective, that's what makes all these comments great. Sometimes I sit back and think people have lost their mind (like the bluminator) but then I also remember he's had probably all the finest brews out there. The two big things I notice split the camps are cinnamon and sweetness (either love it or meh it - for Josh)

I for one will tell you DBH is easily one of the top 10 beers I've ever had and will always seek it. In the meantime until I crack the next one, rum action hazelnut fast breaker (nooner 8) and BA Snowed In will help sooth the soul (yes they're both in the top 10 too)

Rum Hazelnut DOS (Nooner 8) is probably the best stout to come from Cycle ever, and just a tad behind DBH in terms of quality IMO.

Opened one on Christmas Eve. Easily one of the best stouts on the planet. Tasted as phenomenal now as it did when I had it before. If anyone thinks its "fallen off", hit me up. Ill take it off your hands all day long!!!
