In all honesty do you think anybody who has a DBH in possession would ever say they actually thought it was subpar? Nobody ever talks negatively about a "whale" they have in possession and are thinking about trading. You aren't going to knock the stock of a high trading beer down. Not in this scenario.

In all honesty the low bottle count beers incite massive beer trade value manipulation and it is kind of a turn off to see the behavior that goes on. You obviously aren't going to shoot yourself in the foot but it's kind of ridiculous there are people who purposely rate a beer poorly to try to devalue it so they might be able to obtain it. Kind of ridiculous.

 

Don't take my post the wrong way though. It may be very very good but there are few people out there who will give up 8 bottles and admit the beer they got was not worth it. It's just hard to correlate good taste with user rating because people manipulate the system and are not honest. I guess that's why "the bros" scores have to be taken into account because user scores are driven by rarity and trying to keep up trade value.

It was good but not as good as I remember it being in September.
Maybe my palette has changed, maybe it hasn't.
There wasn't as much apple brandy coming through and there was loads of chocolate which muddled the flavors.
Still I great beer and I'm glad I drank it but I could care less if I ever have another one.
If I had more in my possession I would say the same thing.
It's a world class beer but I'd recommend drinking them sooner than later.

Cracked my second to last bottle last night. Fully agree with zookerman182. It was amazing but lacked the AB Barrel punch it had fresh. Drink now boys, they're not trophies.

 

See, I had my second bottle a couple weeks ago and the ONLY flavor my buddy and I tasted was the Apple Brandy lol...

 

I'm surprised the threadshitters aren't coming in here to say you guys are morons. lol. Now DBH won't have any trade value unless it's fresh.
