Meh-I found the cherries to already be overpowering in the last batch of CAftW, so I'll probably skip this one.
Any word on when this will be tapped at the tasting room? (sorry, I don't have access to FaceBook at work).
As someone who doesn't use facebook, is there more to the message than that they will release TTriple Cherry AftW on draft at the tap room?
Alan said: "Trying something new, Double Cherry Adam from the Wood. 200lb of fruit in a bourbon barrel with 30 gallons of Adam. It should be ready to keg next year." Then mentioned it was more of a triple and then said they used an Elijah Craig barrel and it takes 18 months t get the cherry flavor out. That's it. There is no release date, there is no bottle limit, it's purely a teaser.
Thanks. Much obliged. I thought maybe it was going to be another special release during the OBF, and was starting to get all excited for nothing. :-)
I spoke with Alan and this will not ever be bottled. This will be draft only as an experiment. Should be fun to try on tap sometime next year though!
What is the next bottle release? The collaboration brew in november (Hair of the Dog Pannepooch 20th Anniversary Beer release)? or some other FtW bottles? I am looking for a reason to drive up if you can't tell already.
