Price hike?? I got some last week at Wine Castle in Livonia. $19 a 4pk. In years past I tbinks its been around $13 or $14.

I was there when the store got their delivery, and heard the manager say something to the distributor like, "i cant believe im getting charged this much".

Anybody else notice the same price hike? Still worth grabbing, but damn, that's expensive for Dark Horse.

$19 is quite high...$15.99 is the highest I've seen so far

I don't remember what it was last year but it was over 5 a bottle at my local store. I thought that was a bit much. Luckily my wife was in GR on business and picked it up for 3.89 a bottle at Sicilianos.

I paid $17.99 just a couple of days ago. What a great beer!

I'm pretty sure it was in the $13 range last year in the Ann Arbor area, now i'm seeing it more in the $18 range at my local stores.

It was $12.99 at Champanes last year and $15.99 this year, so definite price hike.

$4.99 per bottle is the going rate I've seen here in Milwaukee. Discount had a 1 bottle limit last weekend

I've seen it anywhere from $16-18 a four pack and a number of places doing 2 bottle limit at $5ish each.

I wanna say I paid $18 in the Detroit area and gladly went back and shelled out another $18 for four more. What an amazing beer.

I didn't buy any last year, so if there's been a big price increase, that's unfortunate. But it's about the same price as Hopslam and I enjoyed Double Crooked Tree at least as much as Hopslam, if not more.

Last year I saw $14 and $16 4pks. A little pricey, but worth it.

    Ok
Ok, I really don't understand the bottle limits on this one. A small bottle store owner told me that there is no allocation on this beer...so he asked for 5 cases and got them next day!

Our store got 1 whole case and we weren't allowed to get anymore, so it was a 2 bottle limit.

Some stores out in Oakland County got many cases on the first day and didn't really have much of a limit. Stores out in Wayne County didn't get very much later in the week and most have limits.

True but their really the only place in Genesee county that carries that kind of beer on a regular basis.

Yeah, it's ok, i am willing to pay a little extra not to have to drive all around northern Oakland County. Although now that i am moving to our Troy offices I will be closer to some decent shops that can move the volume to charger less. Need to make some new contacts...

I've seen it this year for $15.99, last year I think I paid 2 bucks less for the 4 pack. It's still a price I'm willing too pay, I love DCT.

Plead the Fifth stayed roughly the same in price from prior year - perhaps Darkhorse realized they were losing their ass or margins were very thin for this years price hike to happen.
