I love Day Tripper, not a fan of DDT and don't think I will bother picking up a bottle.

.... But.... What about the hype??
Interested to try it myself, but given how much I love Day Tripper myself, I'm expecting a similar impression.

I thought it was good, but not great.

    Won't even consider buying a single bomber, of DDT, when I can get 6 DT's for $9 - $10.
And I've been hitting Day Tripper mighty hard this year

Definitely one of the most disappointing releases I've had from Indeed other than Shenanigans. One and done for me.

Damn. Really bummed to hear this isn't meeting expectations. Maybe I'll pass on this one after all?

Because 4 people didn't like it? I'd wait til you see actual full reviews before you pass judgment...

With all the fantastic beer available to me locally, beer has to be pretty spectacular for me to trade for it or go out of my way to acquire it. I'm passing through the Twin Cities in a few weeks and if I stop and find a bottle, I'll probably pick one up, but I'm not going to go out of my way to acquire one like I was going to when I heard the announcement of this beer.

Wow, some people are crying hard over this beer and only two kegs have been released so far. Haha. It's delicious, no one cares if you're not going to pick up a bottle. Hell I know I'm not going to buy a bottle because I plan on drinking it every time I see it on tap.

Day Tripper has replaced Furious as my go to beer going on a year now.

Don't get me wrong Atom; I definitely will try it on tap if I get a chance.
But the disparity between the price between DDT and Day Tripper will keep me away from the bomber.

Yeah, it's not even close for me.
    DT crushes Furious.

Had a week-old DT last night, thought "it can't get better than this".
Then my GF came home with a six-pack canned on Monday.

I too will give tap a try and seek bottles as appropriate.

Honest question - has Day Tripper gotten better? I like it very much, but never thought it stood up to Furious. Been a year since I've had DT fresh though!

Or maybe furious has gotten worse? think about that. beer conspiracy theories.

Although I only have it every 6 months, I could believe that. Wouldn't be the first IPA subject to batch variation.

I think the rest of the "MN" field has caught up with Furious! Thank God for Abrasive! BTW. It's still drinking good!!

Furious is still unique to me, there are few beers like it. I've only had one from Modern Times and one from Cambridge Brewing that are similar to me.

Back on point, despite the negativity I'm still looking forward to DDT when I visit in a week!

Hahahahaha! Post of the year. That's the funniest not-meant-to-be-ironic-but-ridiculously-ironic post I've seen...maybe ever.

I went on Indeed's tour this past winter and they noted a new acquisition for them was a "hop torpedo". Basically it shoots in dry hops via gas. They used to just open up the fermentors and throw them in which risked a bit of oxidation.
