    I've seen 4-packs anywhere from $15-$19.

Boston Wine Exchange? I stopped in and saw the $21 price, laughed out loud, and left. Convenient to my office, but give me a break. Their pricing is high on everything though, so at least they're consistent in that regard.

because the brewers/breweries haven't been playing up the 'limited, we're almost out, get it now' mantra?
Akin to another brewer saying 'don't arrive before 8:30am for the bottle release'....

don't hype something and then expect people, shops and the like to play 'fair' or listen to your 'wishes'

Where was the hype? I didn't see them say anything except it was limited..... because it was, in fact, limited.

Yea their pricing is getting more ridiculous as time goes on. I didn't see the price so I was pretty shocked when it rang up at $21, although in retrospect it wasn't so bad since even Julio's was selling it for $18. I laugh out loud every time I see them trying to sell sixers of 'Gansett for $8

Am I the only person that thinks this beer is excellent for a commercially available(albeit limited) release?

It's a pure Nelson bomb! If people are concerned about price, then you are in the wrong hobby. Drink beer, dont complain on the internet about price.

I completely agree! 4.99 a bottle is a tad steep for a 12 oz, but I thought it was incredible. The hop aroma/flavor and clean finish met the quality you'd expect from a Lawson's IPA. Also, didn't have to drive to VT to get it. Win win.

There is a difference between complaining about the price of a beer and asking what others are paying because you feel like one place is ripping you off. Hell, i even mentioned in my original post that the pricing was in line with similar bombers. But based on the responses to thread I would say I was correct and that pricing was way out of line from what the brewery intended.

And it is a good beer.

Reason on discrepancy is most likely due to the shared SKU to Otter Creek RIS($10.99@Granite). Based on standard mark up on invoiced price, pricing should be found at 17.99-21.49. Granite priced singles @$4.99 with a 2 bottle limit.

Maybe they don't need the CT business? It boggles my mind, but oh well I'll have to take fresh Gandhi every few weeks :stuck_out_tongue:

This beer is really bursting with glorious Nelson hops.
While DD is the better beer, I'd rather have a 12 of Larry or Flower Power any day over 4 of these for roughly the same price.
