Picked up two four packets in Kittery today. Two stores, 2 minutes away from each other, $2 difference haha. One almost out, the other a few cases left but going fast.

Curtis Liquors in Weymouth had some this afternoon. There was a 4-pack "display" at one of the front registers (they weren't out on the floor). I didn't get definitive numbers but the woman mentioned they were down to their last couple of 4 packs. $15.49 per 4 pack

I'm waiting for someone to crack open bottles and repackage the 4-packs into 6 8-oz bottles. Just pathetic distribution on this.

Can't believe these are being broken down into single bottle sales at places, yowsa. I'll enjoy the 12 I picked up this weekend. . . . (<--- f*ck right, humblebrag for daaaaayyys).

was excited to try this and have been keeping my eye out, but reading the last few posts I have decided there is no point on this one.

If I happen upon a 4 pack I'll be psyched, but it doesn't seem like it's worth the hassle to seek it out

No way Double Dose is worthy of 1 bottle limit.

I was at a store today in Mass and a salesman was complaining to another customer about how DD was not really better than the other Brewmaster series (Overgrown, Fresh Slice, etc), but because Lawson was in on it, "all the nerds come out for this one. It's pathetic." Naturally, he was wearing a Hill Farmstead shirt when he was saying this, so I believe his objective opinion that is clearly not subject to hype or popular opinion.

Also, if you've had Lawson's beers, you aren't mistaking Double Dose for one of them. It's a fine shelf IPA, but not worth the ridiculous way it's being treated (yes, I went to a store w/ a one bottle limit today, just to confirm my memory from last year).

DD is a much better beer than the others in the series. I think a lot of people would agree. That being said it's somewhat overrated and not worth the high price.

It was broken up into single bottles many places last release as well. Lawson's name and the limited availability lend towards the draw big time. It's not that good of a Lawson's IPA, and isn't THAT good of an IPA in general. Toss a big name on there, limit availability, jack the price up, beer geeks come-a-running. I just grab my popcorn and laugh.
