Julios had some as of 1pm, not on the shelf, had to ask (partially because of trying to spread the love/literally just got their beer order)

 

Julio's ran out. I stopped at Wegmans they had 2 cases left no limit $14.99

 

good price at wegmans. if I had bought mine there I wouldn't have thought it was over priced. I paid $20 for mine

 

Wegmans is always a great place to hit. Everything goes out on floor. I think and its priced very well

 

It's available by the growler in the New North End of Burlington, in a brand new beer superstore called 802 BWS. It's in the Ethan Allen shopping center near the Hannaford's. 64 oz will set you back 14 bucks, plus a 3 dollar growler charge.

 

So no one can notice similarities or differences, except you. Got it. Knowing it tastes similar is remembering characteristics of the beer. People are trying to pinpoint the difference not claiming that they know the exact reason it's off to them. Your argument is the same one I see here all the time. "Know one can remember beer from a year ago, but it's tasted the same" It's just laughable. Nothing more.

 

Um, I'd also argue that it is impossible to properly assess/contrast a beer that you has an entire year ago, nevermind a week ago unless under EXTREMELY controlled circumstances. There are just way too many variables involved. Memory, setting, mood, psychological, what you ate that day, change in palette, etc etc...the list is endless.

At the end of the day, just sit back, sip that shit, and enjoy!

It's only beer

 

They still had a bunch of Double Dose at the Warren store when I was there yesterday morning, but the again I was there early and people were out for Hopcelot and SoS like sharks that smell blood, so I'm betting someone noticed them and took care of that.

The beer is good- it isn't in my personal IPA wheelhouse, but it's still better than a lot out there.

Is it pricy? Yup.
Is he price point still cheaper than basically any Maine Co. Beer that I come across? Yup.
(No hate to Maine, just factz)

 

Several 4-packs at Needham Wine and Spirits for $19.99 as of yesterday afternoon.

ShopRite LQ Chester on rt 206 in NJ got a single case yesterday and is selling bottles for $4.50 with a strict limit of 2 per person. They were bottled on 9/18 and tasted outstanding. I managed to get 4 bottles. Cheers!

 

You're the right one. Same process, splitting otter creek and lawsons water. Another case of people's tastes changing or not remembering exactly how it tastes. It is very very similar to last year.

 

Not to trivialize the conversation but, take a look back at some of the recent posts...("So no one can notice similarities or differences, except you") kind of stuff. Otherwise the conversation is legit.

And yeah, it is only beer. Pretty good beer to boot. Tried some for the first time last night alongside current favorite and DD won by a yard. Unfortunately. DD is considerably more expensive than current favorite.

When I picked up Mastermind in Burlington I pd $15.99 a four pack, was it $10 at the brewery?

Picked up in Providence, RI at Campous Liquors for 15.50$. Great beer and they had a good amount available.
