I'm completely out of kegged beer. I'm going to use my second fridge for temp control on a Kolsch beer that I'll brew Sunday. I'll need the fridge for about 3 weeks and then I'll go back to using it for kegged beer. Does anyone else do this? I'm also wondering does anyone pulls their kegs out of their fridge to use their fridge as a temp control and then put your kegs back in after fermenting? It can't be good to jump around in temp too many times with beer.
I don't keg, but bought a second fridge for the soul purpose of secondary fermentation of a quad I brewed. The Quad came out fantastic and the fridge is now my beer fridge. I do plan on one day turning it into a kegarator.
