I grabbed a growler at the brewery today for football Sunday. When this batch is done it will be gone for awhile. Thanks to a nice young lady there she sold me some beer before opening, if it follows HDR I expect it to be outstanding. Get it while you can.
This is a serious Dipa, and a whole growler to myself my drinking buddy on football Sundays is hung up in bad weather. If Charlotte was closer this would be a bi weekly staple it is that good, and it was worth the almost 200 mile round trip. The best DIPA IMO that Nc puts out, for my palate I like it better than Freak.
JD at Beer Study said he was told by Noda that the Double HD&R was going on hiatus after the current batch sells ou, so get it while you can.
The young lady (Jessica) told me the same thing, its going away for a while, but it's most definaty growler worthy, have one take one home, wish they opened earlier and weren't in Charlotte.
phenomenal beer but they probably need the hops to keep making regular hop drop since the cans are selling so fast
It better! At the very least, those at BOA this Sunday will be able to enjoy Hop Drop 'n Roll and several other NC beers.
